I stumbled upon a nice introduction to rabbits in folklore written by the great Terri Windling here at The Endicott Studio. It brings up all the reasons why I’m such a fan of the rabbit image in literature. Check it out.

And since I brought it up, if you’re interested in folklore or myth at all you should really check out The Endicott Studio itself. I’ve lost myself there for hours at a time.
